3DBP usually comes in, just after the prelimary design. Although earlier is possible, when a feasability study or BIM protocol is required, or a BIM check on the list of requirements needs to be performed.
The creation of the Building Information Model is always done at a high level, compared to market standards. This doesn't necessarily imply a very detailed model, but neatly defined deliveries and adequate use the possiblities of the BIM.
